LISLE WINE TO GO!

We continue our Southern Hemisphere tour in South Africa for this week's WINE TO GO 3 Packs at Malloy's Finest Lisle. The names and places may be unfamiliar, but the scenery is spectacular and the wines are delicious!

Our RED 3 Pack starts with a savory Shiraz from Babylonstoren, one of the oldest working Dutch Farms on the Cape and now also a luxury resort. Rich and silky flavors of blue-black fruit with a touch of chocolate, pipe tobacco and white pepper are a perfect pairing with a hearty pot roast or stew. Next is Cabernet Sauvignon from the heralded Kanoncop winery. Named for the canon that was fired when Dutch East India Trading ships came to port, this fourth-generation family farm makes award winning wines. The Cabernet is well-balanced and approachable, with aromas and flavors of blackberries, black fruit and spices. Pair with your favorite grilled steak. We change things up with a family winery specializing in Cabernet Franc. Raats "Red Jasper" is a Cabernet Franc dominant blend, with splashes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Ample flavors of blackberry, plum and cassis frame earthy notes of menthol, tobacco and pepper. Indulge in its complexity with braised lamb shanks, roast leg of lamb, venison and aged cheeses. Sunny REDS for only $57 after 15% discount.
