It is truly remarkable - the nose has top shelf rum notes, vanilla frosting, and buttery French pastry, the palate hits with tropical fruits (Guava! 👀🌴), cola syrup, and butterscotch and it finishes with guava juice and rich caramel, coating your tongue for several minutes! Hazmat but doesn't drink like it 😎

LISLE WINE TO GO!

This week's WINE TO GO 3 Packs feature wines that are New at Malloy's Finest Lisle.  Read on to learn the stories behind these beautiful wines.

Our WHITE Pack starts with Pinot Grigio from Joe Bastianich, the son of Celebrity Chef Lydia Bastianich. From less traveled Friuli in Northeastern Italy, it stands out from other Pinot Grigios for its round and full-bodied aromas and flavors of juicy apple, pear, peach and melon, with a fresh stony finish. Enjoy with your favorite Antipasti. Next is La Lastra Vernaccia di San Gimignano, from the historic Village many of you may have memories visiting In Tuscany. With a savory character reflecting notes of citrus, apple, and tropical fruit with a hint of bitter almond, it's the only official white wine of Tuscany. An excellent pairing with Oysters, Veal Tonnato or Risotto. We finish with Chateau Saint Roch Rosé from Roussillon in Southern France. An unusual Rosé made from old vine Grenache and Syrah, it's both elegant and decadent with exuberant flavors of fresh strawberry, watermelon and minerals. Delicious by itself or paired with Salade Lyonnaise or even Turkey with stuffing and cranberries.  Wonderful Whites for only $50 after 15% discount.

Our RED Pack Starts in Verona, the romantic home of Romeo and Juliette. Speri Valpolicella is bright and transparent with lovely crisp flavors of sour cherry and marzipan. A classic with Risotto and Radichio or Gnocchi in tomato sauce. Next from Portugal, is a wine for Dog lovers. With a paw print on the label, Montaria is named for the vineyard Dog. Aromas and flavors of red and black fruit with notes of chocolate are balanced with soft tannins and good freshness. A faithful companion with Piri Piri Chicken or a treat with grilled meat and sausages. We finish in Cahors, France, the original home of Malbec. Château du Caillau has made wine for six generations. This example is attractive and well-balanced, showcasing typical inky dark color with rich, complex flavors of black fruit, cassis, cocoa, spice and earth. Pair it with an old-fashioned pot roast or braised lamb shanks. Remarkable Reds for only $46 after 15% discount.

NEXT WEEK!

Join us next Thursday, November 20th, at 6:30pm for a VERY UNIQUE class featuring Bardstown Bourbon Company and their National Brand Ambassador and Supreme Whiskey Educator Jaz'min Weaver! We are excited to once again host Jaz'min for another creative class involving chocolates, whiskey collabs and a barrel pick (oh my!)!

We'll be pairing several of their delicious bottlings such as their Ferrand Cognac and Silver Oak red wine collabs with foods such as chocolate covered cherries and lemon white chocolates 🤤🤤🤤. Finally, we'll be pairing our new Bourbon barrel pick to really set off the evening!

Attendees will have first crack at our new flavor BOMB Bourbon pick, which is a delicious 114.5 proof 60/36/4 mashbill that is PACKED with rich flavors of caramel apple, allspice, candied cranberries and ginger - what a delicious Fall and Winter pour!

WHISKEYFEST LISLE IS COMING!

Join us Saturday, December 6th, from 2pm to 5pm at our Lisle store for a pour of OVER 70 outstanding whiskeys across over a dozen vendors!! We're excited about the brands coming and have switched out several from the Glen Ellyn event to keep things fresh!

Cost is $10 at the door or through our website HERE which is FULLY refundable with any purchase from the tasting!

ALSO, we'll be having a special one day raffle that Saturday after the Whiskeyfest for the right to buy several extremely sought after bottles.
