LISLE WINE TO GO!

Discover Paso Robles with this week's WINE TO GO 3 Packs. Paso is one of California's largest and fastest growing wine regions. Warm days, cool nights, varying soils and differing altitudes, create a huge diversity of wines to explore. With wine shortages from the fires in Napa and Sonoma, Paso Robles is hotter than ever. Enjoy these benchmark selections.  

Our WHITE 3 Pack starts with Viognier from Vina Robles. Rhone varieties do well in Paso. This example was harvested in the cool of the night and aged sur lie in stainless steel for fresh aromas and flavors of peach and citrus with a lightly creamy finish. Pair with crabcakes or your favorite Thai noodles. Next is Ancient Peaks Sauvignon Blanc from the cool southern part of Paso Robles. Classic aromas of cut grass and wet stones with textured flavors of lemon-lime, green apple and pineapple are a wise choice with grilled marinated shrimp or steamed Mussels.  We finish with Daou Chardonnay. Layered aromas and flavors of pear, peach, passion fruit, golden apple, hazel nuts and buttered toast are clean and balanced. A joy with grilled or roast chicken or a creamy pasta. Wonderful WHITES for only $47 after 15% discount.

Our RED 3 Pack starts with crowd pleasing "Full Moon" by Midnight Cellars. This blend of Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon shows the diversity of Paso. Balanced flavors of black cherry, strawberry, minerals and a touch of spice pair nicely with a diversity of foods from burgers to ribs. Next is Daou Cabernet Sauvignon. From vineyards producing wines costing hundreds of dollars, its deep and balanced flavors of black cherry, currants, pomegranate and crushed herbs make this a favorite with grilled steak. We finish with J. Lohr "Pure Paso" The name says it all. This powerful, mouth-filling blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah shows Paso at its best. Unctuous flavors of ripe red and black fruits, oak, and licorice shine from start to finish. A great value like so many J. Lohr wines, enjoy this beauty with rich red meat like slow-grilled short ribs or marinated tri-tip. Robust REDS for only $59 after 15% discount.
