LISLE WINE TO GO!

Italy is one of the most diverse wine countries in the world with over 500 official grape varieties. Join us as we begin our exploration in Northern Italy with WINE TO GO 3 Packs at Malloy's Finest Lisle! Visit the Italian Alps, Piedmont, and Verona.

Our WHITE 3 Pack begins in the cool mountain air, bright sunshine and rocky soils of the Italian Alps. Peter Zemmer Pinot Grigio is extraordinary, with alpine fresh flavors of white pear, green apple, lemon and a hint of hazelnut and minerals. With a pleasant fullness, this is the wine you dream of with your favorite appetizers, salads or fresh caught trout almondine.   Next, we go to Piedmont, with a view of the snow-covered Italian Alps and famous home of white and black truffles and hazelnuts, especially covered in chocolate. Arneis was an almost extinct grape that has been successfully revived. Our selection from a co-operative of two towns, Vinchio and Vaglio, has flavors of apple, peach and hazelnut that are refreshingly dry. Simply delicious with your favorite mushroom risotto. We finish in the Southeastern corner of Piedmont with Ca' Adua Gavi. Made from 100% Cortese grapes, this crisp, dry white features bright lemon, green apple, melon and almond notes that are a perfect companion to the complex Basil, pine nut and cheese flavors of Pesto or any summer pasta salad.  Bright and Fresh WHITES for only $50 after 15% discount.

Our RED 3 Pack starts again in the Italian Alps. Terre di San Leonardo is a hidden gem of Italian wine. Family owned for over 300 years, this certified organic Bordeaux-style red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenère has approachable flavors of black currant, blackberry, plum, cedar, tobacco leaf, and subtle savory herbs. Enjoy this delicious rarity with your favorite roast or grilled meats. We return to Piedmont where Barolo is considered the King of Italian wine and the Langhe Nebbiolo is the Little Prince. G. D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo is vibrant, aromatic, and approachable. It offers classic Nebbiolo aromas and flavor of rose petals, red berries, and spices with a silky finish. Baby Barolo for a bargain to savor with your favorite ragu and pasta.  We finish in Verona, the romantic home of Romeo and Juliette. Speri Valpolicella from the Covina grape is bright and transparent with lovely crisp flavors of sour cherry and marzipan. MOUNT GAY SAMPLING!

We'll be sampling the reformulated Mount Gay Silver rum at our Lisle store this Saturday from 2 to 5pm!

The updated blend combines unaged Column still rum and Pot Still rum aged for at least two years in Whiskey Casks! The result is a well rounded spirit with ripe fruit, toffee, floral notes and a very balanced creamy finish!
