MASTER DISTILLER STEVE NALLY MEET, SIGNING & SAMPLING!

Stop in on Friday, August 21st any time between 4pm and 7pm to meet Bardstown Bourbon Company's Master Distiller and WHISKEY LEGEND Steve Nally at Malloy's in Glen Ellyn! 

Steve will be pouring a selection of great bottles, chatting and signing anything you want! We'll have the Origins lineup open to taste as well as our new Malloy's Wheated Single Barrel Pick that is incredibly delicious!!!

LISLE WINE TO GO!

We continue our Italian Wine exploration in Central Italy with WINE TO GO 3 Packs at Malloy's Finest Lisle! Visit Tuscany, Umbria, and Abruzzo.

Our WHITE 3 Pack begins in Tuscany with La Lastra Vernaccia from the famous town of San Gimignano. The only DOCG ranked white wine in Tuscany, its complex aromas and flavors of flowers, citrus, tropical fruits and mineral with hints of almond are a classic with antipasti or roast chicken.  Next is an unusual and delightful Tuscan Chardonnay that everyone can love. Il Muro Lama sings with extraordinary notes of fresh flowers. Be sure to stop and smell the flowers before savoring the balanced flavors of crisp apple, pear and citrus to pair with a creamy seafood risotto or light pasta like Cacio e Pepe. We finish in Abruzzo on the Eastern Coast with Vigna Madre "Kriya" Pecorino. This crisp, aromatic white wine is made from 100% Pecorino, an ancient Italian grape that has seen a resurgence. Delightful notes of nectarine, ripe pear, and herbs pair beautifully with seafood like linguine with clams or, naturally, Pecorino cheese.  Bright and fresh WHITES for only $45 after 15% discount.   

Our RED 3 Pack starts in Tuscany with Volpaia Chianti Classico. One of our favorites, this winery in the heart of Chianti, has painstakingly built the winery into the existing historical buildings and stone walls. With a cooking school and a restaurant, this is one winery you want to be sure and visit. Enjoy bright red cherry, raspberry, floral violet notes, savory spices and crisp acidity with tagliatelle and your favorite ragu. Next, we travel inland to Umbria, the home of St. Francis. Scacciadiavoli Montefalco Rosso is an elegant and refined blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot. Notes of red fruit, spice and underbrush are well balanced to accompany roast pork or a pork belly porchetta. We finish in Abruzzo, nestled between the Apennine Mountains and Adriatic Sea on the Eastern Coast. Vigna Madre "Kriya" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is widely appreciated for its gentle tannins and soft acidity. Soft ripe red fruit flavors are easy to enjoy with mixed seafood in a rich marinara sauce or your favorite deep-dish pizza.
