GREEN RIVER CANDY PAIRING MASTERCLASS!

Join Green River National Brand Ambassador Caryn Wells in store TOMORROW, Friday, August 8th, at 6pm as she walks us through a unique Masterclass - pairing all of their whiskeys with different kinds of candy! We LOVE the often overlooked focus on sensory experience and exploration and so when opportunities like this come up, we jump at them! We'll get a full "GlenCaryn" experience (haha) and explore their whiskey portfolio and then have some fun sampling along with specific candies. We'll also have some of the allocated Green River 250th Army anniversary bottle that we squirreled away for the event!

Several people have commented how fun this event is so please make a point to kick off your weekend right!

LISLE WINE TO GO!

We continue in Spain for this week's WINE TO GO 3 Packs at Malloy's Finest Lisle! Explore wines from the Atlantic coast to the renowned Heart of Spain.

Our RED 3 Pack starts in Rioja, arguably Spain's most famous wine region. Our example from the renowned CVNE (Compania Vinicola del Norte de Espana), is a benchmark blend of Tempranillo with 15% Garnacha and Mazuelo. It's medium bodied, with flavors of fresh red fruit, vanilla and cocoa. This easy to drink wine pairs well with any type of dish from the Mediterranean diet. We head West down the Duero river to Toro, a very warm region with its own clone of Tempranillo, appropriately named "Tinta de Toro". "Termes" from famed Bodega Numanthia is bold like the Bull, with robust flavors of ripe dark fruit and toasty balsamic notes. Pair with smoked brisket and grilled leg of lamb. We head further West to Bierzo for Mencia from 40-60 year old vines. The Marques de Toro is a 94pt Wine Enthusiast Editor's Choice and a great value. Ripe blackberry and blueberry flavors are silky smooth with smoky notes of cedar. Enjoy with your favorite roasted or braised meats and vegetables. Maravilloso REDS for only $48 after 15% discount.
