WhiskeyFest is coming NEXT WEEK on Saturday, October 3rd from 2-5pm at our Glen Ellyn store! Sign up HERE!

LISLE WINE TO GO!

Cruise the Rhine River with WINE TO GO 3 Packs at Malloy's Finest Lisle! From Germany to the borders of France, we feature Rieslings and Pinot Noirs that are the wine of choice for Foodies everywhere.

Our WHITE 3 Pack starts in picturesque Alsace where the Rhine separates France and Germany. Pinot Gris from Alsace is richer and deeper than Pinot Grigio from Italy. Soak up some Fall sunshine and enjoy a favorite from Emile Beyer. Gently off-dry flavors of pears and stone fruit are a pleasure alone or with a wide range of foods from Quiche to Asian noodles to Roast Chicken. When in doubt, go with Pinot Gris. Next is Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett Halbtrocken. A mouthful to pronounce, it's dry with elegant and sophisticated wisps of pear and peach with lively acidity. An amazingly delicious mouthful with grilled Rainbow Trout or Sushi.  We finish with Monchof Kabinett Riesling from the famous Urzig Wurzgarten vineyard. Gracefully ripe flavors of peach, apple, and citrus with stony minerality are lip-smacking good with Fall favorites like chicken, pork or veal schnitzel and a creamy mushroom sauce. Perfect with some spaetzle or potato pancakes or noodles. Rieslings and Pinot Gris of character and finesse for only $62 after 15% discount.

Our RED 3 Pack cruises with Pinot Noir starting with "Villa Wolf" from famed Dr. Ernst Loosen. Germany is the third largest producer of Pinot Noir in the world. Pert red cherry and black plum flavors with a hint of shortbread are best with the "wurst". Try it with a traditional currywurst or bratwurst and fries. Friedrich Becker is a Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) pioneer in the Pfalz region. Today, their historical vineyards span both the German and French sides of the Rhine. Vivacious aromas and flavors of dark cherries, rose hips and minerally earth are in harmony with Roast Duck or Roast Pork Forestiere with forest mushrooms and herbs. We finish with a family that has been growing wine in Wurttemberg since 1510. Dautel Spatburgunder opens with intense aromas of sour cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry with seductive floral notes. The first sip is very harmonious and beautifully balanced with additional notes of baking spice, chocolate and a fresh snappy finish. Pair with Sauerbraten or our favorite, Schweinshaxe, a slow roasted, crispy skin Pork Knuckle. Pinot Noirs of character and finesse for only $57 after 15% discount.
