WHISKEYFEST LISLE 5-16

LISLE WHISKEYFEST THIS SATURDAY!

Join us THIS SATURDAY, May 16th, from 2pm to 5pm at our LISLE store for a pour of OVER 70 outstanding whiskeys (and some other spirits!) across more than FIFTEEN vendors! We'll also be dropping a brand new 11yr old Bourbon Barrel Pick and we have special one day allocated raffle bottles! Entrance to the event (refundable) is just $10!  New Holland (Dragon's Milk & Walleye 👀), Taconic and Larrikin are some of the newer ones you might not normally see at these kinds of events along with recent favorites like Pursuit and Circle City and of course many more in store! We'll have both the Founder AND Master Distiller of Thornton Distilling here sharing their bottles too!

We'll be premiering a showstopping 11yr 36% MGP bourbon pick from Circle City at the event! We sampled SO many barrels during our last epic visit, we were truly kids in the candy store. And picked 3 very special barrels, this being the second! It is rich and flavorful with a nose of cherries, caramels, and maplewood (not syrup, very unique!) and on the palate has some remarkable lemon pound cake and French Vanilla notes, coating your mouth with thoughts of bakery treats. It comes to a lengthy close with some breakfast cinnamon spice and a touch of salinity to balance out the smorgasbord of sweets. A GREAT bottle that we're excited to share!
